I absolutely love my custom kitty. Such a cute likeness to our beloved and missed feline friend.
When I lost my Kitten after 17 years together, I didn't feel like fur clippings and a custom urn were sufficient. You can't hug them. I saw a Facebook ad for another company that offers these items but the reviews were mixed, so I kept looking and I found Sock Dogs. Stacey gave me a completion date 3 months out, and she finished right on schedule. I was so nervous that I wouldn't be happy with her work, but she absolutely nailed it. Kitten had a very unique calico coloring and she captured it perfectly. She gave her beautiful, serious green eyes and when I see her across the room it feels like she's still with me. I couldn't be happier and I can't recommend Stacey more highly. She helped mend my broken heart (a little).
Our boy Nibbler left us very suddenly. It was a huge shock and left a massive hole in our family. He was the best, and I was looking forward to many more years with him. When I thought of having something made to honor and memorialize him, I wanted to be sure it was something special, and Stacey delivered. Nibbler was missing a leg and most of his tail from a run-in with a car, and those details were handled with care and attention. She was also very kind and understanding when I could barely handle responding to her emails without tearing up. This replica is the perfect balance of being an homage without trying to be a clone, if that makes any sense. We'll cherish it for the rest of our lives.
