A little story that shows how the custom plush process works! I had an order for a cute little dog; her photos were good, but in some she looked white and in others, tan.
It was also a bit difficult to tell the length of her fur, as it was kinda curly, kinda wavy. When this happens, I'm always careful to hold back a little on the trimming and the color--I can always do more, but I can't undo if I go too far with it.
I sent the photos to the customer, and he let me know that it wasn't quite looking like his pup. Many people are hesitant to criticize my work, but I see each piece as a work in progress, and love it when customers can give me honest feedback!
We discussed what needed to change (shorter fur, more beige, etc), and changes were made.
Next round of photos were sent, and--yay--he was super happy with the results!
Bottom line is, what I do involves teamwork sometimes...and I truly welcome feedback to help get the results that pet moms and dads are hoping for with such a special keepsake.
